Should fit just fine but I don’t know about grey wheels on a red car. Also 17s on a car that sold with 15s. I’ll photoshop it.
Any one tell me what model exactly these came on?

nice fat spokes, perfect for an oppo sticker

Big NO NO for me, wheels should always be period correct. Find some M Parallels or BBS LM’s

Given the condition and price I would say that these are not BMW brand wheels if that makes a difference to you. I also cant find these exact wheels on any e60 5 series.

I think the parallels are for the e36 and would require spacers. I’ve been looking for BBS style ones for months but I need tires (and I’m not spending money on 15s for my crappy 22 spokes) and these might look alright. I’d prefer period correct but these could be cool.

That’s the problem I’m having. Can’t find them anywhere. I think I’m going to pass.

These are Style 243. They came with the 535i AFAIK. Probably were optional for more models, but I think they were the stock option for the 535i and iX.
Also. I think modern-looking wheels like these look very odd on an old car.

Some Borbet type A wheels would look quite nice and they aren’t that expensive (140€ per wheel).

I’ve seen the stock 16 wire type ones go for $150 a set they just come and go so fast.

I feel like the 15s are the only part of the car that look old. All the sidewall. I’m still not sure.

The E36 never came with Parallels, the E34s and E38s did. They look nicer and are easier to find, but I fully understand the tyre thing.

150 for a whole set? Dang, with some luck you could score a great deal.

I think I’ll just wait.

You will find that perfect set sooner or later with a bit of patience.

Yea, I don’t doubt that the seller had them on a BMW/they are the proper size/offset for a BMW. However they look and are priced like something heavy and aftermarket.

I would still say no for an E34. I think the Style 243s and 3 series equivalent (Style 157s) look okay on an E46 though.

100% not OEM wheels.

Those are not OEM wheels. And the center caps should be removed and burned. I don’t mind newer wheels on older BMWs but you can surely find something better looking than 528i replicas.

Those look like the 17’s that came stock on the base E92 3 series.

I almost bought a set of these for my E39 touring, but touring offsets are different..
Make sure you know the offset. For offset and sizing, check here: www.bmwstylewheels.com/

I had some M parallel replicas from eBay. E39 wheels > E60 wheels for E34

I agree.

parallels were on the later e38’s. and not REALLY period correct for the e34. the e39 was the contemporaneous 5 series when the parallels were being manufactured.
period correct wheels of interest would be the throwing stars from the e34 m5 and 850csi.
in any case, i dont have a problem straying away from wheels manufactured at the same time as the car was... hell... its nearly impossible to find performance tires in 15 or 16 inch diameters these days.
see?

I added E39 wheels to my E34. There was a change in hub sizes between these two generations, and as a result the wheels were not hub-centric. I had some plastic adapters to center the wheels, but I don’t know if they were really necessary as I would expect the five bolts to get it pretty darn close to centered.
Normally I’d say to keep wheels about the same vintage as the car, but I figured one generation off wasn’t too bad in my case. Even though I wanted a set of M5 throwing stars or some sort of BBS mesh, those were too damned expensive. I thought these wheels looked a lot like Alpina wheels so I figured they’d work on any generation, more or less. There are too many wheels out there that are too closely identified with one model of car, and I suspect that the ones you’re looking at will look a tad weird on an E34.

i run 17s on my e34, significantly lowered, without problems. with fat spacers i have to play around with camber and such to avoid rubbing but no worries, especially if stock.
